I decided it was time to start blogging again. I wouldn’t want you guys to think that I haven’t been doing anything all year long!! Lol. First up is Morgan and Adam who got married at HoneyLake Plantation in Florida. I had a blast at this wedding but it was an awful early start. When I got there, it was still dark out and I wasn’t sure anyone was even up. :-)
The first time they saw each other was one of the first things we did and we got some great images from it. There is a nice little boardwalk on the far end of the property and the light was beautiful.
The early morning light was just too good to pass up. We were supposed to be getting back, but we couldn’t resist stopping at different places.
Here is the entire bridal party in a “not so ” formal shot.
This room has a name, but I don’t know for sure what it is, we’ll call it the White Room. A lot of ambient light mixed with a video light and we have magic!
Morgan and her Mom have a moment before the ceremony.
I have been to this plantation a few times now since they have opened and I keep working on this shot. I love the way it came out this time.
Again with the video light and a head!!
During the ceremony, Morgan enters through some vintage doors.
She got married in front of this chapel. The chapel is awesome, inside and out, but for a photographer, it’s absolute hell inside. It has a back wall behind the altar that is nothing but glass. Lovely, but hell to photograph from the inside.
Ceremony is over…
Time for a few more shots of Morgan and Adam.
What could I possibly say here?
Decorations at the reception.
And the cake!
My favorite!! Breakfast as reception food!
They’re throwing stuff at me because they love me, I swear!
Time to go! Man, they really got pelted.
