I don’t mind getting dirty for my shots. After all, the images that I take on the wedding day will last forever, I can always clean pants, shoes, shirts and gear. When it is all said and done, it’s actually a lot of fun to have shoots like this, to go where no normal person would go. I don’t mind being different if it means that my clients have something unique and special! After all for me, being different comes naturally.

In continuation of my last post, I’d thought I’d showcase another Creative use of Light image. This time, I used lamps to light Ginger and Willy. I wanted something different than I have ever done before and it came out completely awesome! There may have been some light from a light image right but I can’t remember, it was very late at night when I shot this. This image was from Ginger and Willy’s wedding at Chateau Grand Boise, Trets, France from October of last year! Never be afraid of thinking of something different to do and just doing it whether it sounds ridiculous or not. I was very excited about this image and it is one of my favorite of her wedding images! All props to Ginger, she was very sick when I took this, she did this for me and because she wanted something cool for her wedding.

I shot this right after Ginger and Willy’s ceremony, right across the street from the courthouse. I loved the blue in the wall and the yellow from the mailbox. It just seemed right! Then as luck would have it, this boy walked right in front of them, I fired off several shots and voila! I am a big fan of including people in wedding shots, I don’t want to separate the couple from the world, I want to include the world in their wedding.
This is one of the images that we worked on for the Salon du Mariage in Paris, France. This is from Lindsey Wendler’s wedding at the Chateau Challain in France. It was a quick grab we did after we finished shooting the pictures with Lindsey and Ludwig. we put her up on the staircase and voila!! Awesome.
